Well in a crash that occurred some time ago i managed to bend one of the crash bungs that was on the bike when i bought it.
I've finally got round to drifting the bolt that it screws on to out and found it to be bent ![]() I'm not really sure what is standard on my bike :S I currently have a bent double ended (each with a thread) mounting bolt that feeds from one side of the frame through the engine and through the other side of the frame... Im not going back to original...ive just bought some R&G bungs but the bloke at demontweeks didnt know what they were mounted on or whether or not it came with a bar to shove through the engine that the bungs screw onto. .... Stuck! |

I'm pretty sure the standard part would be a nut & bolt that go through the frame & motor. The double-threaded item would probably be an R&G part, give R&G a call, they'll be able to confirm for certain.
http://www.rg-racing.com/browseBike/..._%28K5%29.aspx This suggests that the R&G product would replace 2 engine bolts? Jambo

I bought the bungs of R&G originally on the 6th and had to cancel my order today because i hadn't received any communication from them at all ;(
Apparently i would have been waiting till next Wednesday at the earliest to get them... Ill give R&G a ring...fingers crossed he's clued up! |
