Default I'm a filthy grass..

Stopped off for a coffee at the a64 McDonalds this morning. Just parked up to sort out my drink holder etc. when 2 north yorkshire traffic cars pulled in and parked up next to each other. 2 Minutes after that a luton/box type van drove past me and was circling the carpark.. I watched as he turned a corner and thought "he's gonna clip that nissan" *crunch*

He slowed down for 2 seconds, before promptly buggering off to hide in the Triton's fish & chip shop carpark on the other side of a 5ft wooden fence. I tried to get his reg but couldn't get a good view of it and he wasn't exactly hanging around..

I'm not having that mate - I let the two traffic officers know, one of them tootled off to collar the driver of the van while the other came and looked at the damage with me & got my details. Big dint about the size of a galia melon on the rear nearside wing and a big gash in the paintwork.. Relatively new car as well.

Hoping some good deeds might redeem my RickRolling antics of late, as I'm starting to think that might be why my gsx-r broke down on saturday and then dropping the sodding thing in the garage on sunday morning..

Nice one YC.

Seriously though, well done to the OP.

How would y'all feel if you came back to your car to find it as described above???

The driver was clearly doing one.

The van driver has a get out in that they have 24hrs to report this - they could say they noted the cars reg & were going to call into their local Police station on the way home. But at least the car driver can get it sorted.

I would hope that if someone clipped my car, any witnesses would come forward - oh hang on, that did happen to me about 6 months ago & nobody did (BUGGER).

Its karma Paul, hopefully when some c**t does something like that to your motor one day, there just me someone like you to see it too.

The luton driver should get points and a fine for deliberately leaving the scene of a collision.
