k5 speed sensor onto a k3?
i know they changed to a 8 pulse magnet from k5 model but if i put my k3 rotor into a speed sensor from an newer model would it read right? or was the sensor changed too?

the magnet changed after k5.
black dial = 4 pulse white dial = 8 pulse |

so the sensor unit next to the wheel changed too or just the rotor? i need a new sensor and cant find one off a k3 but there are a few for later models.

all the sensors are the same its the magnets that are different.
sensor = bit with wire coming out of it magnet = the spinny bit with 4 lugs on it that get broken easy |
