Default Front sprocket removal?

Is the front sprocket a l/h or r/h thread? I have the bike in gear with a bar between the swingarm and wheel so nothing can move and even with a 5 foot breaker bar it aint moving. I know some will suggest an air powered hammer action type thingy but i dont have access to one.

what model.year is the bike? Firstly you need to remove the locking washer, then undo the nut. it is a normal RH thread.

Its a 2003, i have straightened the tabs on the locking washer. Nice to know its a RH thread at least i have been going the right way but its solid. I have removed them on other bikes and they have been tight but this one is ridiculous!

Plus gas or peneration oil is your friend. Get the nut soaked in the stuff.

Also its better to replace the nut and locking washer for the sake of the £12 they cost
