Well I decided I want a large touring bike, so zzr1400 - CBR1100xx - GSXR1300 or sprint 1050 is the choice.
Have looked at them specs, reviews etc, whats your veiws good people of the org? Out if the main three i cant work it out, I will be test riding of course. Many thanks |

Not ridden any of them so feel free to ignore me but, for what it's worth
I've not heard a bad word about the ZZR from anyone who's actually owned one I've heard the CBR described as a bit dull - I've never heard the word "capable" sound so much like an insult I know absolutely nothing about the Suzuki I really want the Sprint So obviously, I'd go for the Sprint. Mind you, I might hate it once I try it! |

ZZR or Sprint. Two very different bikes... heart says Triumph but head says ZZR. Only a back 2 back test ride will decide it.

Test rode the Sprint and loved it, can't comment on the others. That said if it was a comfortable touring bike I was after I'd be looking at a Super Tenere and a Tiger Explorer too. I wouldn't look at a GS because I just have something unexplained against them, but that's just me, I'm not a conformist.

So good col, you told us twice
![]() Zzr is not the same bike IMO, if you want a touring bike then the gtr1400 is more like it tbh. Bloody heavy bikes though rob, the sprint is bad enough when it's fully loaded and these are way heavier. |

Cheers for the comments so far guys. The ST is my sensible option.
Col not keen of them to be honest, GS at a push. Phil the weight of the ZZR/GSXR is 5/7Kg more than a ST. so cant see it being an issue unless i drop it lol. But you will help wont you mate ![]() |

GTR is a tank (goldwing) lol and i would have one for that reason. The ZZr is 223kg i think.

With a lot of these bikes it is how the weight is positioned on the bike. Many of the same weight can feel completely different depending where the COG is. I cna quite easily push around a Super Tenere, yet a Varadero i'd struggle with (weights aren't too diff IIRC)
