Default Ebay headlight opinions?

anybody tried this headlight or know someone who has? the bulbs look abit... ****e tbh any idea if the standard h4 bulbs will work well with it? or will the beam pattern be out

Haven't tried that particular one, but most of these things are the same, they look fairly good, but are made of low grade plastics, which is why they come with low wattage bulbs, so you'll find they are less good for actually seeing with at night (which lets face it is the point of lights), so what you'll probably do is get some decent bulbs, and here's where the cheap plastics come in, the heat from even normal bulbs will cause heat and melting after a short while, I've used aftermarket headlight fairings before, but they were Rizoma and a lot of money but worked well and were a quality build, unlike these I suspect, once again , you get what you pay for.

ive got one similar if you want a pic let me know im not far from you in oldham if you want it and collect you can have it for £15 never fitted it as i got rid of the bike it was going on and got my sv.

I want to see pics of sv650s - pointy with these headlights on or similar, I have a faired bike but contemplating the naked look.

Yes, that one melts with bulbs of greater wattage than the one already in it. 25W is pretty ineffective.
