...even if it is to ease seizing up of the hand...not recommended!

Leads to...wibble wobble wibble wobble wibble wobble wibble wobble...AAAARGH hand switch back, throttle still on, bike regains normality and BREATHE SILLY BEGGAR not doing THAT again!

I tried that once. It was a very cold 5am start on a trip to Cornwall and I was trying to get my frozen right hand a go inside the handlebar faring. That didn't work but the adrenalin rush sorted me out for a bit. That was Easter 1989 so testament to what a memorable oops it was

yeah not so easy, a more practical idea is a couple of elastic bands between the grip rubber and the plastic, adds just enough friction for a cruise control.

I've done a couple of left hand throttle conversions in the past, but have found a thumb throttle (like a quad) is easier for the left hand.

Cheers Mark.

What I want is a housing like the old beemer bricks had with a thumbscrew threaded in there for cruise control.

However I daren't put one on any of my bikes because the weight would probably make them unable to stay on the sidestand...
