Smile Uprated my rear shock.

Being a tad on the rotund side I had to do something about the squirming sog that passes for suspension on my 2000 pointy. Problem is, fitting something that works without first butchering the battery box etc.
Luckily, Ebay seems to have thrown up the answer: a Hagon intended for the older GSXR 750 fits perfectly, gives the rear a slight lift and can be wound off enough for the 10 stone sprogs to use it too.
Except that it then bore down even more heavily on the nose. Solution, Hagon progressive kit with a CM higher oil level to keep the balance.
Now, all I need is some adjustable clipons as the standard items won't adjust to accommodate broader-shouldered types.
Maybe rear sets as well.
And, and, and, soddit, addiction has set in.

Hello to you Mr Hagon

The REAL answer is to adjust the bike so that the raised tail is compensated for, so that you don't have screwed up geometry, not to hide/disguise this with some other feel-good mods.

Maybe your next "fix" will be a Hagon steering damper to sort out the now, slightly twitchy front-end (actually caused by the raised tail)
