Default Exhausts and 33bhp restriction?

im wanting to put a new exhaust on my sv and was wondering would this give me more hp taking me over the 33 bhp and would if affect the running of the bike with it been restricted?

i've put an aftermarket exhaust on my sv and no noticeable difference if i'm honest. although i'm sure figure's will prove me wrong.

I'm also wondering about this question, potentially could by a viper can, but want to make sure its still has no effect hp wise, keeping it still at 33bhp?

no it wont as the restriction is done on the air inlet, limiting the throttle opening or an ECU restriction
but it will sound better and with sound you will think its going faster because as we all know loud bikes must go fast (apart from harlies)

I was unsure but asked a Scorpion rep at the NEC last year and he said they do not, So mine stayed on the bike
