No drink on site, bring your own. Tesco's and Coop in Castle Douglas. My missus has offered to do a beer run on the Saturday night.

Regarding eating on Friday & Saturday - you have a choice of staying on site and having meals & rolls from the catering at GAC (will have to give them approx numbers) or travelling out to Castle Douglas(10 miles, 10 minutes down road).
There are quite a few eateries in CD and can thoroughly recommend the Merrick Hotel Curry House - eat in or takeaway. There is a Chinese restaurant & 3 Chinese takeaway's., Italian & Chippies, Pizza & Kebab Shop.

Here what is available from GAC regarding food. Food & drinks available all day from the café.

BREAKFAST available from 8.00 am

Full Scottish - £7.50

Breakfast Rolls - Sausage, Egg, Bacon, etc - £2.50 - £2.95

HIGH TEA available from 6.00 pm

This is a set price of £10.50

They have a choice of meals such as Lasagne, Chicken Curry, etc and a pudding, such like, sticky toffee, Bread & Butter pudding's. This it is a set menu plus a veggie option – if people chose this option, we can let GAC know what we want.

POSH NOSH available from 7.00 pm need numbers for this in advance – need a min of 8 - £18.00. Veggie options also available
