I have a bandit with a data tool alarm same as my sv and it won't deactivate so I can't ride it. I went to work parked as normal then when I can to go home it wouldn't unlock on the key fob! The light inside the key fob is flashing when I press it? Any ideas?
Thanks. |

Does your data tool have the coded ignition override?
If my fob fails, I turn on the ignition which sounds the alarm for thirty seconds. I then count the flashes of the signal LED and turn off after the right number of flashes. I then turn back on and count flashes again until the pin number is entered. I would check the alarm aerial and make sure that it is not broken, other than that I have no ideas. Good luck. |

Try re-synching the keyfob with the alarm. On my Datatool that involved holding down both buttons on the keyfob for a set amount of time which normally sorted things out when it did what yours is doing.
I'm sure if you google for it, you'll find out what the sequence is for your key fob

It's most probably gone to sleep so you will just need to hold the button in for a few seconds while standing next to the bike....
Or, put key in and turn it, let the alarm go off and then deactivate it. This used to happen a lot on my old sv until I changed the battery. |
