Default Bike to bike radio

Any of you lot considering coming on Sunday got a bike to bike radio?

Last time I used mine the other guy complained he couldn't hear me. Want to check if it's my kit or his kit that's knackered.

Tried to check it with Mrs.H with her using another radio at home but I get out of range before I can get up any speed to test the problem.

Not got one mate but as you know radios are my bag! If its a true radio and broadcasting airwave and not a bluetooth, you might need to adjust the freq' because even idling (more so at speed) your bike resonates and if it harmonises with your radio you might as well have two paper cups and a piece of string!

To be honest it's either a shonky mic in my helmet or even shonkier made up cable where I'm trying to get a 4 core plug into a 2 core socket. Just too tight to buy the decent leads and the radios have those micro headphone plugs on them.

If it's a home made cable that's probably the problem. If you can get another to test it with I could have a butchers!

I have got my interphone (swanky) with a Bluetooth 446 which I can bring. Am about to go out and warm up my bike after cleaning it if you fancy meeting somewhere to test them?
