Default SV Race Fairings (675)

Evening all.

I've had a bit of a tough time getting my 675 fairings to fit my injected minitwin. The belly pan marries up great and I've chopped the unnecessary lugs off. Once I get the top fairings all lined up and in the right place, I have almost no movement on the bars without a lot of fouling on the top fairing.

Do any of you lot cut away plastic to give the bars sufficient movement, or just alter the lock stops and move the bars and levers? It's becoming rather frustrating now. Wish I'd just bought some bulky/heavy fairings from ARD for the convenience of a neat and tidy fit out of the box, even if the belly does bottom out at anything other than bolt upright!

If any of you out there could post a few photos to get an idea from, that would be great. Already had a good look at some photos from the NG albums but can't take much from them.

Cheers,
Keith.

This thread can be deleted.

Due to the chew I've had as of late, I've bought some fairings designed for the SV.

It took us 11 hours to fit a 675 fairing to a curvy and it was supposed to be an easy fit!

We butchered it getting it to fit!

I'm getting the impression that they're easier to fit on the curvy.

Had mine fitted up beautifully, but the bars and levers fouled on everything. These one's I've bought appear to be from the same mould that JHS use. Wouldn't be surprised if they just resell these on at a premium.
