It is awesome. The video really doesn't go anywhere near the volume those engines give out. Put it this way, when going full tilt at the audience, theres no way on earth you can even hear yourself shouting in your mates earholes, over them!!!

Fantastic stuff.
My late Father-in-Law, Jim Earnshaw, was a president of 609 Sdn Association so I was lucky enough to be involved with a few events at Elvington. Nothing comes close to the noise of a Merlin for making the hairs on the back of the neck stand up! |

Saw this last weekend at Farnborough. Still makes me tingle. As Squid says, only one thing better than a Merlin Engine and thats 4 of them.
