Default Perseid meteor shower

So who is going to be up and watching/snapping away at this? It is meant to be good tonight and better tomorrow (Midnight to before dawn) Got to be facing a East/North East direction towards the constellation Perseus.

Watched the International Space Station pass over at 22:43 tonight followed by a huge shooting star, pretty spectacular!

Saw one as I drove home with the roof down. Missed the ISS tonight, but luckily, I saw it yesterday evening.

Didnt see any last night as it was too cloudy however the other nights in a NE direction we could see like a star but it was flashing blue/red/white, now it wasn't a helicopter or plane as it stayed in the exact same location

I think you have to polar align the scope (think it means point it toward the star Polaris) for it to be able to search for stuff. Bought my wife a scope for Christmas last year and really enjoyed looking at Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and the moon. Going to get some more eyepiecs soon to get a better view of Saturn. Also got a camera adapter for the eyepiece so you can put a compact on it.
Got her this one:
