Sony kit is generally good. I have an Xperia Play.

There are better phones but that doesn't mean it us a bad choice.

If it does everything you want from a phone, then pick one up. Consider the S3 unless that would be overkill. Then consider the S2

Pegs got the xperia P, gorgeous colours on screen, vivid photos and longer battery life. Far better than my HTC sensation. Well we think so, anyway. He had an iPhone for a while, he prefers the Sony.

Oh yeah, my parents both have the Samsung S2, I find it awkward and have had to declutter them both.

I have an Experia S, the U's bigger brother. Its ok. Not sure about the recent firmware update, its a bit buggy. But other than that, it a good phone, and far far better than my HTC was...so far. Sony are good at support which was one of the main reasons for me getting a sony again.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is stunning and if you dont mind something large in your hand, then thats what i would get, and should have waitied a couple fo months for.

*Sniggers*

But yeah, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is a absolute amazing phone. I wish I would of waited for the S3 but it would of been too big for me and my dwarf hands.
I've heard good reviews of the Xperia phones quite a few of my pals own them.

Either way hope you get one you want

I have an Experia Ray, a bit small for my hands, but otherwise recommended.

I'm with Viney. I have the Xperia S, it's a good phone, but I don't like the new firmware.
My daughter has the Galaxy S2, she loves it & the little I've seen of it, the software looks more funky

Got it, and so far I like it. Liked the Galaxy SIII for what it would do but not the size. Was tempted by the iphone but thought it a bit pricey, and in truth it was more the marketing hype that made me look at it.
