Buying advice - mileage high?
So I've got my 2nd attempt at mod 2 in just over a week (fingers crossed), but have got the chance of a fully faired 04 plate with nearly 25k miles on the clock.
Looks in great condition, but any thoughts on the mileage? Just wondered if it was a bit high? As a complete newbie I've no idea  Thx |

My k4 has done about 24k now and is still going strong. See what the service history is like. Mine had a full dealer service history but I still checked it over when I got it and gave it a full service. One guy on here (name surpassed me) sold his pointy with over 116000 miles on it!!

All my bikes have had around that milage. Even one that has been serviced by a hampster (like my current bike) should still have some good life left in it, especially for the work horse SV engine.

Great.... So if engines ok, anything else I should ask about for a bike of that mileage?
Tyres, discs, pads etc are all fine I don't have a licence so can't test ride yet... ✌ |

ALWAYS take someone with you who is more experienced or at least more objective. ALWAYS do this. Even if that someone is just to bounce your thoughts off. Unless you're me. Then you can ignore your own advice.
