Default sv650 curvy faired to naked ish?

hi im thinking of doing a slow change from part faired to naked. it will end uo with upright dirty bars but at the moment just concentrating on changing the lights and finding a set of clocks.
i have found a light that i like so when i have a set of mounts and all the bits together i will complete the change in one go.
so advise is needed. has anyone fitted a aftermarket speedo thing. ive seen the digital ones off ebay. are that worth the effort. or should i get a naked one?

If you do find sv650n clocks you may find the dail sticker on the rev counter has peeled and curled, mine is like that and apparently it's common - I would ignore it but the needle gets caught on the sticker some times which is annoying. I found a guy selling the stickers http://www.cafepress.com/sv650peeling in the US, but not ordered one yet. They come apart easily enough so you could make your own or scrape it.

Other interesting facts I read about the n - geometry is different - different wheelbase; diffident sprocket so slightly different gearing. It has a box type break fluid resovior, so you might want to check the plastic one doesn't get in the way of the handle-bars. I think the pegs are lower too. And you need the headlamp ofc.

Also the n is a lower insurance group according to MCN, but I bet they won't discount yours.

You'll be lucky to find a naked top yoke as well, they're hard to find too
