First year back on bike and with SV

Hi Chaps,
i joined the forum last year after i got a bike again after 29 years of non ownership. Ive had immense fun throwing myself into the bendy bits of the east lothian and borders areas, quite often go to Fife as well. Bike is a standard pointy 650, (under 5k miles when i got it on an 04 plate), as a mechanic i do all servicing myself, just done the 7.5K service, and bought a carbtune II balancer kit from a friend for £30. Bargain. Bike runs like a dream after balancing. Have removed swing arm and greased bearings. Am finally getting used to engine braking, wont be buying any brake pads for a while. I have size 13 feet and am looking to extend the gear lever a bit for comfort. Apart from those tiny points, i always have a huge grin on my face when i come home from a run out, which is all that matters.
