Seat swap (SK1/2001) - low for original.

I have a low after-market seat (with matching pillion seat) fitted to my SK1, but being tall I'm looking to swap (or buy) an original seat set (rider + pillion). Must be in A1 condition.

Mine is in A1 condition with only 13k miles on the bike (although lowered seat was probably fitted recently judging by its condition).

I'm in Coventry area, but can travel to view and swap/buy, if mutually suitable.

Can anyone advise if there is any differences in the SV650 seat design between a 1999 SV650S model and a 2001 year (SK1) edition, especially in regard to fit?

Are the seats standard for the S and SK range from 1999 through 2002?

As far as im aware curvey seats k1 - k3 fit all curvy bikes likewise pointy k3 -k9 all share same seat brackets,

Ive done a bit of looking up on this myself as i needed lowered seat for my pointy k9 and that was same info i got back every time as well

ANd not that it's of much relevance to this seat but I think the K3 seat is slightly different to K4 onwards seats.

Mark, thanks for the feedback. As Nik said, we did the swap (thanks Nik!). Hence conclusive that 1999 to 2002 (curvy) models utilize same seat design/fixings.

Red 619, useful to have clarity re. later (pointy) models too... especially for anyone searching for 'seat swap'...
