Default 4000kms of spanish goodness

Haven't posted on here for a while but I figured I'd post this here as well as SVrider as more people on here may get some use from the info.

Recently back from 12 days bimbling round the squiggly bits of Spain.

Great time had and many grins! Hot plains and high mountains, cold beer and great food - what more could you want!

You can download the route track for google earth here if you're interested

Pics and burble are here.

Enjoy!! I did

Agh! Only about a 1/4 of those pics on your link work for me.

Post a few of your faves on here?

Beetroot, I hope they'll inspire you to do!! Really worth it if you can sort it. I know I have the advantage of a quick hop from Mallorca to Barcelona that does make it easier...

Stramasher. The page may take a while to load as there's a bunch of pics on there. I'll try and post a few on this thread when I get a mo.

If you're planning something like this for next year I'd be interested in doing it. Did France to Barca and back - almost 3k miles in 14 days - on my own this year for my 1st experience of touring so looking forward to some more next year, having learned most of the "what to do's" and "what no to do" from this trip. Great pictures and looks like everything worked out great, which is part of the luck needed for a tour I think.

Runako, dunno if I will next year. This is the third summer in a row I've done it and was re-covering a fair few roads I'd ridden before. I'm thinking if I can swing it next year I may head into France and Italy. Or possibly a shorter trip to one spot.

Need to plan some away time with the missus first before I start plotting another trip!!!

Lol! Of course the missus must come first! I'm unencumbered, so to speak, so have lost the memory of what it's for a woman to be my 1st priority

Also reading my post back it appears slightly gay. I'm not. I'll clarify that I'm planning another trip to spain next summer through France again, but doing more of spain including Sete, Valencia and obviously Barcelona and I thought to myself "it would be good to go in a group". So your post reminded me of that thought is all.

Maybe you can pursuade the missus to do the next trip with you?!

No worries mate, to be honest I didn't read anything into your post. Plus, I dunno if you noticed, but I live in Mallorca.

If you want any info re routes let me know as I've covered a fair bit of the good squiggly stuff in the last three trips, plus could probably recommend a couple of nice stops/cheap hostals along the way. Happy to pass on any tips advice that might be helpful.
