Ive just replaced my 650 shock, so will have that available soon if its of any use? Not sure if the 1000 and 650 are the same or not though.

The 1000 shock is much better than the 650. It's 3 way adjustable and works well for my 11 st. The later shocks had more shrouding at the top than the K3 to protect it from heat from the rear exhaust I think. Mine is getting tired at 23000 miles and 23 trackdays.
