Default NEW attack the sv Day

As wednesday is going to be a nightmare (i'm working the in the evening) is anyone free to tinker on thursday? I'm free all day. Beverages provided.

Tasks:

Replace chain + sprockets

Fit Gixxer Shock

tried to do some of it myself and got as far as removing the cover and clutch mechanism and got confused. oh dear.

Ive wd40d the fook out of everything in the vain hope it'll make everything come easier.

If simon cant come over tomorrow then yes nathan the weekend could be the answer

Im following the haynes manual and it said to disarm? I( i think that was the word) the clutch linkage (just two bolts) assumingly it gets in the way of the front sprocket

Yeah that's the work drive, enjoy putting it back on. Oh and DO NOT PULL THE ROD OUT WITH THE WORM DRIVE!!!

FYI, its easier to loosen the front sprocket while the rear and chain are still on, also be sure to flatten out the locking washer... And be sure to bend it back at the end because it really does matter.
