Default Alternative to jacking up a pointy for a shock swap?

I have paddock stands front and rear but each day pains me that I dont have a abba stand yet haha....

Im going to be doing a shock swap with the zx10 06-07 shock soon but was wondering how i could go about jacking the rear of the bike up to do this without a abba stand??

Need some orgers wisdom!

Cheers gents.

I used ratchet straps round the frame and over a roof beam in my garage. Pic shows the front end suspended (before I bought a headstock stand) but principle is the same for the rear end. Take off pillion seat and secure strap round frame.

Got a car jack? Put the bike on the sidestand and undo, but don't yet remove, all the necessary nuts and bolts, then put the jack, (use a block of wood or similar), under the motor and lift it just enough to get the rear wheel off the floor. When you're done put it back on it's wheels before tightening everything back up.

I used a ladder and straps.
Removed the pillion seat and looped the straps over the A framed ladder and then under the frame below the pillion seat. I used a second strap to prevent the lower part opening. Worked a treat.
