i'm thinking of going out in Edinburgh sometime soon to have a little drinkypoozz so does anyone fancy joining in?

looking at the 8th December for some drunkenness.

Can't speak for the 8th but I'll be there this weekend with the Old Lady. Where should we go?

if it's for drinking then best head up the bridges. stay away from the cowgate, lothian road and rose street. there used to be a rock club in niddre street round the corner from the bank bar at the tron crossing.

The Old Lady went to the college of knowledge in Edinburgh so the Pear Tree and surroundings might be the go. She's more a hip hop and reggae type of girl though so I don't fancy my chances of getting her into a rock club. Anywhere but the bloody castle works for me though.

feck know where the reggie clubs are now since the one in calton rd shut down. the sothern in clerk street was a bikers pub. along from the pear tree (cross roads end) is the southsider it's usually pretty alright as well.

Assuming I can get a pass, I'm up for this.
