Default Speeding tickets

Hey guy got caught doing 43mph in a 30 this morning and got 3 point and £60 fine for it with no option of drivers awareness yet about 2 weeks ago got caught doing 50mph in 30 during rush hour and got nothing, how do they decide who to procercute? My main question though is as i only passed in october if i get 6 point in first 2 years i loose my license, so does that mean now that if i get caught again i loose my license or if i get caught again i have 6 points on my license then anymore i would loose it?

Why you speeding so much in 30's?? If you get 6 points in the first 2 years, you have to resit. as soon as you hit the 6 you have to re-do, not hit 6 then if you get more you resit. I would say calm down and ride a bit more sensibly! thats my opinion and take from it what you will.

Well kids points mean prizes!

On topic, if you reach 6 points you will lose bike/car and once you retake you will be allowed the full 12 although it will start with 6 on it.

No one can tell you to slow down etc, so if your going to speed pick up your obs so you see the police/camera van/speed camera

Don't forget to tell your insurance about the points.

and what ^^^^ says. Chill out and slow down. Travelling at twice the speed limit is a fast way to court and an instant ban.

Different treatment is down to the way you acted with the Rozzer at the time and the different circumstances.

A friend of mine did the same had to retake an extended test so be careful buddy.

I passed in September for my bike but have had car licence for 18 odd years so if I got caught speeding twice would I just get points or lose my bike entitlement ?????

Different forces, different rules on the speed awareness thing, but I'd suspect that 40+ in a 30 is over the limit where you would be considered wherever you were. I'd also think that the 50 in a 30 might result in a court summons rather than being dealt with at the roadside, so there may be a nasty surprise in your mailbox shortly as well.

Oh okay so dont get caught now or lost license, but say i did loose that then mean i have to resit under new rules? As i under 33bhp A2 license as im 17? And tbh the 43 was safter than 50, 50 was on residential area during rush hour with a mate, whereas my 43 was 2 mins aroung the corning but on my industrial estate at work. Was very unlucky cos i seen the car (was unmarked ford focus st) just driving out forcourt of the ford garage on my idustrial estate so i presumed a guy that worked there. But tbh i dont normaly speed anymore than 10mph over the limit just this morning i was late

Yes you will have to take a test according to current test conditions. So if you are 19 you will be restricted to 47 bhp for two years etc.... Easier to be more sensible about your speed IMHO.
