I have just bought one off fleabay today for my K6, at a decent price. However after looking at a few more threads on here tonight I feel I may have jumped in with both feet.
![]() I have a couple of pics of the shock. If I have got a correct one then do I just need to modify the battery box? Or are there any other mods which would need to be done? I would really appreciate any advice, cheers ![]() |

search the forum, there'll be quite a number of old threads i should think that'll probably answer your question.

I have looked but nobody seems to have fitted one from that year.

Have you looked at the google docs spreadsheet on the shocks to see what needs doing. Can't get a link, but a search should throw it up.

I have looked, it just says requires cutting. So does that mean the battery bay?

Here's the link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...thkey=COvG24gH Looking at the angle of the reservoir it will require cutting the battery box. Last edited by dirtyred619; 05-03-13 at 11:22 AM. |

Ok, does it look similar to a 06-07 shock?

It will mean the battery box or removal of tool box or both. Can't find it right now but someone posted a little how to on swapping that shock and the cutting involved.
