What are these holes for? Curvy.
Really quite a menial question but I've been wondering what these holes are for on the dash? ('99 sv650s)
One on each side, they look original moulded, not like somes attacked the bike with a drill. Just down the bottom left corner of the speedo on this photo

I don't know but I bolt my HID ballast through it, perfect size!

I believe they're for adjusting the headlight angle. A Phillips screwdriver through the hole should connect with the adjuster.

TCochrane - hadn't heard of HID ballasts until now, going to consider these on my bike! |

They light up the road like white flood lights but also be wary of dazzling oncoming vehicles and I wouldn't recommend going through an MOT with them in!
But I love 'em xD |
