Talking Chopping off the snow plow? Curvy.

So this weekend I will hopefully be getting rid of the plastic monstrosity at the back of my bike. I've bought a tail tidy off of a felow orger (plate to cover hole left by snow plow, along with number plate hanger and brackets, and number plate light. I've found some decent instructions online but I was wondering what obstacles, if any, people who have carried out this mod may have encountered and their experiences of carrying out this mod. For instance, can I get away with just wielding a large hacksaw to the snow plow, or do I really need an angle grinder to tidy up the edges? Don't really want to go out and buy an angle grinder if I don't need one Other than that, I'm guessing it's just a question of taking it slowly and being methodical. So, share your experiences if you will

I'm looking to do this to mine. So if/when you do it, can you take an unnecessary amount of photos please?

No probs. Picked up an angle grinder on the way home so will hopefully be doing it over the weekend.

Awesome. I really want to cut down the beast of burden, but can't be dealing with a whole new undertray at the moment.

hacksaw done the job on my old curvy, anglegrinder seems a bit overkill to cut off 3mm thick injection molded plastic

Yeah, I have read that. Will dish the link out as it's pretty comprehensive. Have to use an angle grinder though, it's more fun
