Default I'm such a tool!

Last night I put my bike back together after fixing my headlights, whilst the fairing was off I decided to change the clocks to the LEDs I bought a couple months ago.

LEDs in, tested everything & blasted speedometer stopped working.

So today I spent an hour fault finding; I took the LEDs back out - unscrewed the clocks gave everything a wiggle, tested the bike and the speedometer was working fine!! Great!, so I put the bike back together (including all fairing) ready for a ride out this afternoon just as I put the last screw into the fairing I noticed the LEDs on my workbench that I hadn't put back into the clocks!

I'm not too proud to say I've also spent a couple of hours putting something back together only to look round and see a part that should have gone in first...

Have a laugh about it and then have an extra beer tonight to console yourself.

You have to laugh about it! On the plus side, at least in the hour it'll take me to put the bulbs back in I won't be able to continue building the patio that the mrs has been asking me to finish off for the last 12 months!
