Default Suzuki oem oil drain plug crush washers on ebay

Here they are, i got myself some 'aluminium' ones during the bike rebuild and now realise how sh*t they are. Crush washers do the job right and bed in the rim of the sump hole creating a seal. For me using the aluminium ones still caused the occasional spot of oil seeping out, so they were ditched.

How odd - I've never had a problem with leaky aluminium washers, the only failures I've had are with convoluted washers!
I never buy OE washers as they're far too dear, I have a big box of aluminium and copper washers in differing sizes that cost about eight quid as I recall, these are used for everything.

I can see the drip on the case split tab right next to it. Must be running across when the bike is on the stand. Ive checked all round the area for drips coming from elsewhere and nowt to be seen.

one sure way to strip a sump plug thread. use a new washer every time they only cost pennies.

i used to use the OEM ones but have returned to using copper ones.
