Default Handelbars to clip ons?

I'm tempted to put clip on's on my naked sv.

I've seen a few threads but maybe not the right ones as I'm not 100% sure if it's just as simple as putting the clipons on the forks and swapping the gear from the risers onto them?

Can anyone confirm - I'll be doing stock SV clipons to save cash... I can think about changing the top yoke later but happy keeping the naked one with the holes in if it doesnt make a difference

I don't know if that will work. On the 'S' yoke there are indentations on the underside. On the clip ons there are pins that go into these indentations and stop them turning/twisting on the fork.

I think you may need shorter cables also.

Ive got longer cables on my S, (brake and clutch) not really an issue for me. The clippons do have a locating pip for the underside of the yoke.

Was about half hour job to swap all the bits over from clippons to renthals, easy job.
