Question Pointy start up display?

Evening all, Had a quick search but didn't find much so,

Quick question for the pointy owners, when you first turn the bike on does your tachometer needle do a sweep of the dial?

Mine doesn't, but the reason I ask is that I just swapped over the battery on mine and when I first turned it on the needle went up to 7K, paused for a second then came back down. I've turned it on and off a few times and it hasn't done it again... Random occurence, or problem?

Cheers Lads and laddettes

Think it's normal to get a tacho sweep only after re connecting 12V to the ECU (i.e was due to your battery swap).
So nothing to worry about.

Yep mine does the same after having the battery out. Probably just to self calibrate itself, theres probably some sort of position sensor at 7k.
