Default Dim lights - Curvy.

Hi all, just brought another sv 2001 nut the guy has fitted twin headlights and are incredibly dim (cant see f##k all at night), high beam works fine?????

Any ideas?

As we don't know anything about the headlights in question it's hard to say. Get a picture and description of them in case someone has experience with those items.

In the first instance, what bulb type and wattage are being used?

Check the voltage at the bulbs (assuming they are standard wattage H4), You could be losing lotsa volts due to poor switch, loom, connectors or dirty fuse.

Depends how good quality the headlight is, and what bulbs they take.

However, i have an eastern beaver relay kit fitted and it has made a big difference.
