If one had ben travelling at a speed appropriate for the road, the rider could have spotted pothole and readjusted to exit without a problem.
Looks fairly clear from the pictures to spot any oncoming traffic, so as the road veeers to the left, the rider should have been on the right of the pothole, missing it completely Or am I missing something?

is there not gravel in the road?
I suspect if your bike is still held together with mainly dirt you haven't been able to damage any of it but have only scuffed a bit of crap off it. |
