not a great fan of messing to much with the basics on the SV myself, but as a project, vfr/ntv single sided swinger, rear subframe and seat unit, nitrite coat forks, contrating pinstripe... for a start.
Cheers Mark.

I've always wanted to do something with the tank as it's a lot bigger than I need and very high up. Unfortunately the only downside of a Pointy is that the tank carries the fuel injection pump so it makes any changes that much harder. As yours is a curvy it's an obvious start......

He means get a custom tank for it!
I was thinking of streetfightering mine with a S10 respirator and MK6A Helmet to make the front end |

I was trying to originally make my K5 a little more Supermoto like because one of the problems I have when riding on the loose is not being able to get my weight forward enough because the tank gets in the way. I took the seat off my XR650 and offered it up and it actually flowed very nicely into the airbox area, unfortunately my plans to make a custom tank to go under the seat got stopped because I couldn't find anywhere tall enough to take the fuel pump. It's been done on a Curvy model because they run carbs.

I would say do something with the rear seat unit. It looks very wide!
