Default Calling all photographers! Photographing pearlescent paint?

As the title suggests really.

I'm currently in the process of having the Sv converted to a different colour, which so happens to be a pearlescent colour.

So, yeh, im a photographer and havent even tried taking proper photos of it yet until all the minor details are complete.. but just looking for a heads up on the best angles to the sun or any lighting equipment to really capture the pearl effect...

Fire away..

Edit: Heres a photo taken on my phone.

I think to really get the effect to show you will need an external light source you can direct. I assume this as then you can direct the light and you can take a picture from the best angle to show the depth of colour
