Default Frame similarities Pointy v Curvy?

Does anyone know if the carby and inj. frames are the same geometry? I know subframe mounts are different etc... The main thing is are the engine mounts and swingarm mount positions the same?

I would like to make a frame up, using an existing one as a reference and carby frames seem significantly cheaper on eBay for some reason...

Thanks.
