Hahaha! He's lucky it was a Comaro and not something bigger like a pick up!

Absolutely dreadful riding on every level too. Not paying attention, miles of tarmac to swerve onto! Lucky dude!

A former colleague of mine did something similar on the first day of a bike adventure holiday in Thailand, but wasn't quite so lucky.

He went into the back of a flatbed-type truck, which you would think would provide a nice soft landing. However, the flatbed had a series of nine inch hooks around it for attaching nets etc to, and he landed ahrse-first onto one of them.

It literally tore him a new ahrsehowle (I've seen the pics to prove it!) and he nearly died from the subsequent infection.

Even if not then taking your chances off road has got to be better than accepting the fate of an impact.
