Default yipee, its raining

Finally

After 3 weeks of sweating like a paedophile in Mothercare. Its raining.

I have been out and checked it is not an over sized lawn sprinkler next door, it is definitely falling from the sky.

Maybe if it cools down I can finally get a nights kip tonight.

Damn it has now stopped, does 20 mins rain in 3 weeks constitute a break?

Back to sweating

20 mins! We've had about 20 seconds of rain down here... All the decent thunderstoms the other night went either side of us...

Will people please stop demanding the weather gets worse.

We get precious little summer as it is.

I do quite like big fat summer rain though

Well after 6 days diving way up North in glorious sunshine it absolutely tw*tted it down most of the way home, which should helpfully have washed any salt off the van.

Still muggy here though.

20C and sunny is better for the bike, but I cant complain, this is real summer. Winter will be back soon enough!

Boy, did it finally arrive this morning. Two hours of downpour, gutters overflowing.

We've had about 5mins of rain in all, it rained overnight but still not very much I'd say maybe an hours worth of rain in 3 weeks, still I can't see how the weatherman can say it's less humid, if anything its more than it was before!

I'm down in Reading, Berkshire. Although I don;t really want rain not for a while yet, I don't mind overnight while I'm sleeping though.
