While riding, even over short distances, my right wrist really hurst.
What is the best (cheapest) way to raise the bars by maybe one inch??? My bike is a 2006 650s. It has standard clip on type bars. Cheers |

Have you adjusted your levers so everything is comfortably in reach? How is your position and feeling on the bike? Are you relaxed, or riding along squeezing both handlebars and knees crushing the tank?

bend your elbows, relax your shoulders, grip with your knees and loosen your grip on the bars. try and get your forearm as horizontal as possible, your elbow should act like a hinge. it's about building up muscles that you don't normally use.

Its your riding style.
There are so many noobs i see in london with arms fully locked out holding onto the grips. Use the tank and grip it with your knees then tighten your core. Your weight should not be on your wrist brah. Your elbow should be bent at an angle brah. |

that is usually a sign that your gloves are to tight. if the tips of your fingers are touching the top of the fingers in the gloves or the gloves are like a second skin you will get numbness, pins and needles. cramp is often a syndrome of gripping too tight.
