Internet Dating

Been single for over a year now [ unofficially over two years]....and thought I'd tentively dip my toe in a dating site.....OMG!! What a learning curve....full of men [and women] just looking for 'how's your father!'lol
Suppose I should be grateful that so many guys fancy a fat middle aged biker gal!!
Anyone else try the internet dating thing? x

I know loads of folk that that have met their significant other through the Internet.
They have likened it to a job application... Firstly you put your cv up online then it's weeded through... Then if your lucky you get an interview and if both parties agree... The job could be yours!!
I reckon it's defo a modern way of doing things. Missed out all the carp having to get to know someone likes n dislikes on the second date!! You can approve their form before you meet them!
Although remember the basics... Tell someone where your going... And meet in a public place etc!! There are a few weirdos out there!!
If you meet the right one... The romance will automatically happen!

no, and I'm not sure I ever would. Possibly because I don't like people enough to actively pursue a relationship with one.

Quite often but that's mainly because I'm generally the worst person ever to try and "chat up a lady" or even chat to a woman . I found a very lovely lady on there, moved in, got engaged and then got screwed over. My own fault for being so trusting so lesson learned. Will be trying again though.
