Vinyl wrap project begins on my pointy! - SV650.org

And so it begins, I'm attempting to do a full vinyl wrap on my 04 sv started with the easy part the cowl I'm going to be doing it over a month or two while I'm not using the bike I'll post some pics as I go along to see the progress it's going from blue to white it's my first attempt after watching many how to clips on YouTube heres a few pics to start off with, wish me luck!!!

Yes I had a few panels resprayed in the bluebut in certain light it you can tell, but always fancied a white bike, but worst case being it looks rubbish i'll peel it off, I'm pretty happy with the end result of the cowl only took about half hour but I'm going to have a pop at the tank next I think.. just can't decide if to do it with it on the bike or take it off?? The vids on YouTube show both but we'll have to see!! Thanks for the response!!!

I too will be watching this thread closely... I've got a few panels on my pointy in need of some work so am thinking of wrapping them in as close a match as i can get to the original colour!

It's what my brother had left from a car wrap he had done on his car i'll find out the make and let you know?? Apparently it's a better quality stuff than some but couldn't say?? But it seems to go on and stick well enough and also shrinks back really well with the heat gun!
