Morning All,
I haven't riden for a year or two, but am considering getting a bike again and have a couple of questions regarding insurance and no claims: 1. I cannot remember who I was insured with previously, so is there a way of finding out? 2. As I haven't riden for two years, perhaps a bit more is my no-claims still valid? Cheers. |

2)
No claims are usually valid only for a 2 year period, so if you haven't had a bike insured in your name for over 2 years, your ncb's are most likely gone. |

When I asked about my old ncd earned they would only accept a renewal notice up to 5 years old.
So ask and hunt around for your old one.

I've heard the two year rule too.
