Unhappy Rear seat removal? Curvy.

I firstly will admit that I'm clearly an idiot, before anyone points out the obvious. But:

I've just bought a SV650 (2000 model) and I cannot work out how to remove the rear seat! I've read "with the ignition key" but can't see anywhere to unlock or anything a key might be used for.

It is clearly not a problem any other (normal) people have had, but it's baffled me.

Can someone please help my simple-self out? Step-by-step...

Thanks...

If you look above the pillion peg bracket, there's a round thing. This is where you use the key, it'll pop the front of the pillion seat up.

Sean_C - Thank you very much!! One of those "wood for the trees" situations... Much appreciated indeed.

No problem, let's hope any other problem you may come across with your bike is this easy to solve

Smile Re: Rear Seat Removal

Thanks for the welcoming and helpful comments - i thought I might have been ripped to shreds for my stupidity...

I'm off to London tmrw (from the midlands) for my first long-ish trip on my shiny red sv - I wanted to get into the storage to put a 12v cigarette lighter, which I now can.

Thanks again all.
