Default KTM LC4 640 opinions?

Hi folks. Any 1 have experience with these. Thinking of getting 1 as a second bike.

Have you considered the KTM 690 Duke (2008-2011)? It gets great reviews and looks like an absolute hoot to ride.

Earlier LC4 motors used to be a bit brittle, which is what Sniff is referring to.
Look for the 690 motors (some earlier ones are badged as 640's) its a far better motor. 2008 onwards are the best ones.

What you looking at for budget?

Default KTM LC4 640 opinions?

It's friends bike i was looking at. Says I can have it for 500. Looking on the bay they fetch 1200-1500 ish for the same year. It's just had all new cams and head. Nice condition too.
