Default Show us your flooding

Wandered off to see how badly the Thames has flooded this afternoon. May well head out again tomorrow to see it from a different location but these are pics from around Marlow town centre.

The geese and swans were enjoying the extra-wide river. The benches you can see are on the towpath. The boat on the right looks like it's moored in the middle of the river!

The weir beside the Compleat Angler and Marlow lock. The sound was amazing as the water rushed over the edge. It's normally quite peaceful here.

Not many people able to make use of the Thames footpath right now. I only got a few feet down this access path towards the river (the Thames path has to go around some posh houses that have private river frontage in places) and it was almost to the top of my wellies.

Anyone else got any floods near them?

You should check out the flooding in Staines. It's hilarious. By which I mean terrible.

We were in Nottingham…. one of the lads had had too much to drink. Then this may have been the point at which the flooding started. Approximately 3am.
