Default Hi from Northampton

Quick Hi to everyone, Im new to SVs just joined having bought a 2003 curvy.
Had Kwaks previously mostly ZZRs and some older 80/90s stuff dabbled with Honda a little to but been away from bikes for about 18 months.

Now back in the saddle with a nice Black SV and getting to grips with it, great little bike, little loud with the system that's on it but learning to live/ enjoy it
Not touched anything yet but will be doing an oil change soon and checking filters and stuff. Just looking to get some nice weather and a few miles in this year..

Anyone know a good bike garage in Northampton who knows SV's I want the shims checking which is something I don't fancy doing myself having watched it done on videos on the net I recon paying an expert would be better..

Cheers

Thanks for above link. Went in today and they gave the bike a good look over.
Couldn't find any air leaks but said does pop rather a lot
Thinks it's a fueling issue and surgest a spell on a rolling road to set it up correctly.
Nice guys spent quite a while pulling bits off and checking lines etc and charged me zip nothing at all..

Given the bike a oil change and new filters and at least seems to run smoother, gears noticeably better!
Again thanks for the link good place and I like the little back street places som much more friendly than mail dealers.
