Hi all,
I've got a pair of Sidi Vertigo boots, they're brilliant, but the soles are completely smooth on them now. Can anyone recommend anywhere in Glasgow to have them resoled? I see various posts hinting at there being a harder wearing sole more suited to walking in too - can anyone confirm this? Muchos Gracias!

Oooh. Didn't know Timpsons was an option (thought riding boots would have particularly tough bindings etc...) That's nice and simple then, will get workboot soles on.
Many, many thanks Bibio!

all they do is grind the old sole down then glue a new one on. my very first job was in timpsons. if there is enough room on the edge of the sole then you can get them (if the shop you go to has the machine) stitch the sole on as well, just like doc martin boots.
