Default Reliable place to get brakes repaired near New Forest?

Me and Mr LPH are in the New Forest this week and this morning 2 up his KTM 990 Adventure decided to leak the rear brake fluid everywhere. It's Brembo brakes.

Probably just a seal gone. Anyone recommend a place down this way who could fix it for us swiftly?

We've got the car here too so we're not stranded.

You'll probably only be able to get brembo seals from a ktm dealers. Brembo aren't keen on selling seals, had a bit of a time finding seals for the brembo rear caliper on the Raptor

I don't know of any places down that way. The best bet would be to go to a bearing specialist as they usually sell all sorts of seals and may have one to suit.

Slightly off the wall suggestion but as you're in the vicinity if you go to Sammy Miller's (well worth a visit anyway) ask them where they source unusual seals.

Funny thing is we were on our way to meet Pyro for breakfast at Sammy's when it quickly became apparent that braking wasn't proving easy and it wasn't just because I'd eaten a lot of ice cream yesterday so the bike weighed a lot!

This is the part no. if it is of any use to you for the piston seals - 60013081000

Fowlers have them in stock (not sure when you are going home) but any dealer that deals with fowlers can get them next day. £7.15 + VAT

Cheers, there's a Honda dealer near Ringwood also does KTM so we're going to give them a call in the morning. Glad we opted for 1 bike 1 car this year.

At least you found out nice and early, rather than having come for breakfast then found out on a ride!

Crescent in Verwood also do ktm so may be worth giving them a go.

That's the one, maybe Stu meant Verwood not Ringwood. I'll follow him in the car or he could be lost in the woods for weeks.
